According to the Thiele Small Parameters the 3182 has a greater excursion than the 3184
and a lower fr resonance by far .


These were produced in the 80's.By todays standard one would want a 3182 instead.

3182's are a fine choice especially if you pick up some used and get Bill's new cone design at GPA. Bill redesigned the cone to get rid of the foam surrounds which rot after a while and ruin a fine driver that should live a lot longer like 515's. The pair I had done are beautiful in workmanship and appearance.
